The eco-friendly Alubond Green series that reduces the carbon emissions of buildings to a minimum and contributes significantly to the sustainability to the structures, utilizes post consumer recycled content (PCR) in a maximum 75% content ratio.
This PCR content is obtained from various sources, from used soda cans to recycled aluminum bundles.
Up to 75% of the aluminum used in Alubond Green panels is obtained from recycled content. Prior to the process, in the manufacturing of raw materials, the objective is to use the maximum ratio of recycled materials, and a very precise quality control process is implemented to ensure that the end product is of the highest quality and strength.
The inner fillings of the Alubond Green panels are also comprised of recycled, high quality plastics.
During the production phase, which is the most important part of the process, the Alubond Green panels are manufactured in production lines that are specially designed for the Alubond U.S.A. brand, and that consumes 50% less power than other standard composite panel production lines, with high efficiency in energy-saving. Its environmentally conscious approach to production at all times, is one of the most important aspects that distinguish the Alubond U.S.A brand from its rivals.
Once the 100% recyclable Alubond Green panels are sorted for reuse in the raw material supply chain after their use, The Recycling Cycle is completed.
